Visual Language

These projects explore how design can speak without saying a word – through shape, color, and mood. Each one has its own vibe: "Unbound" is all about playful branding and illustration, "Mediation" dives into emotional shifts using symbols and color, and "Zuki" flips beauty standards with bold contrasts and surprising visuals. They each tell a different story, but all share the same goal: using design to say something meaningful and push ideas in fresh, unexpected directions.

Unbound bikes medium design

Environmental Design

Deliverables:

  • Micro, medium, and macro-sized designs

Project highlight:

In this project, I integrated my designs and textures into SFU’s concrete playground. Its location, brutalist architecture, and connection to mountain biking made the project even more meaningful.

Zuki beauty ad design

Environmental Design

Deliverables:

  • 5 in by 7 as PSD

Project highlight:

It all started with an idea: to turn unconventional images into something beautiful. By highlighting the contrast between desert and hydration, Zuki sets itself apart from typical beauty ads.

Mediation book cover closed

Book Jacket Design

Deliverables:

  • Book jacket (with flaps)

Project highlight:

At the core of this project is an abstract, geometric visual interpretation of mediation. Once it’s on a shelf, it captures attention — inviting viewers to pause and uncover its deeper meaning.
